I am writing to strongly recommend Darrell Hoh as a real estate agent. Darrell is professional, easy to work with, effective and helped us sell our house quickly and smoothly.
We interviewed several agents and chose Darrell because he was so knowledgeable and friendly when we met with him. Darrell had a packet with information about our home, other homes in the area, and even pictures of our home the day after we set up the interview! Initially, it was hard for us to know how to pick an agent, but once we met Darrell it became clear that going with him was the way to go.
We had to get our house ready to sell quickly because of a job transfer, and Darrell helped us with everything we needed to do. He has so much experience that he knew how to get all of the paperwork together quickly and correctly. In addition, he sent out advertising on beautiful mailers to agents all over the bay area. His website had all of our information featured prominently so that anyone interested in our house could easily see photos, contact Darrell, and get a host of other information extremely easily. Darrell made a tough job or selling quickly easy for us. We were highly impressed with Darrell.
Darrell went out of his way to make the process of selling our house easy. He always met us at our house so that we did not have to travel to sign papers, which allowed us to care for our young daughter with minimal stress. Darrell was also always available be telephone and electronic mail in case we had questions or needed advice. We felt like we were Darrell’s only clients, and that made working with him a great experience.
When it came down to the actual selling of our house, Darrell was able to counsel us about the pros and cons of different asking prices, set up pest reports, meetings with the title company, and most importantly close the deal with the buyers seamlessly. We sold our house for $40,000 over the asking price and could not be happier.
We are buying another house in Illinois and our real estate agent there is good, but not as good as Darrell. If he were able to represent us in our purchase out of state, we would certainly use him. Our experiences with other agents have made us value Darrell’s skill, attention to detail, professionalism, and care for us as clients.
